The new Evolution 3 terminal is,
without a doubt, one of the most versatile terminals
of its kind. Being equipped with a large number of
base features, it can be expanded in several ways,
allowing it to answer the majority of the time and
attendance and access control problems at the
workplace.
The Evolution 3 communicates
through TCP/IP using the Ethernet 10Base-T standard,
allowing it to communicate at long distances and to
connect several terminals in the same network. There
is also the possibility to connect this terminal
to GSM mobile or RS485 networks.
Being already equipped with an
internal keyboard and a RFID proximity card reader,
it can also be connected to several kinds of external
readers and inputs, to sirens or door bells, or to
activate electronic locks and turnstiles.
With an external card reader
attached, it becomes the ideal tool for access control,
being able to control not only the punching time but
also the direction and the intensity of the access to
a specified place.
Its graphical display may include
text in several fonts and sizes, images and animations,
being this content totally customizable with the TimeDraw
software.
It has the ability to reproduce simple
single-tone warning sounds (beeps) or music and voices
of higher quality, thanks to its onboard sound card.
